Booking Terms & Conditions

New Zealand Motorhomes is New Zealand's Premier Online Booking Service and has been established since 2001 with many thousands of satisfied clients. This is a free service with no Booking Fees. *We absorb  the Merchant Fee of 2% on any funds debited by ouselves unlike the majority of the Motorhome Companies. New Zealand Motorhomes is an Authorized Agent for all the listed companies. We have located the best Motorhome Rentals at the best rates for you.

Bookings details should include Credit Card details to initiate a booking or you may request to make payment via Cheque or Bank transfer in the comments box on the secure Reservations page. Reservations are only fully confirmed once we receive a deposit. Your Credit Card details are secure through our high encryption booking form. New Zealand-Motorhomes will debit your Credit Card between 15% and 25% (depending on Model reserved) of the total daily hire rate as a Deposit to confirm a booking . All Charges and payment Terms are clearly presented on Part One of the Booking process. A Reservation Summary will be automatically emailed to you once you have completed your Reservation online.

The rates displayed are the lowest rates available and we offer a price Guarantee. Please conduct any Amendments or Cancellations through us, and not the Motorhome company, as this can cause confusion and conflict - and they usually charge higher rates.

OnlIne Reservations

In the event that the motorhome of your choice is unavailable at the time of submitting your Reservation  New Zealand-Motorhomes will endeavor to offer you an alternative motorhome of similar size, price and quality that is available on your Travel Dates. We will only book an alternative Model with your authority and your Credit Card will NOT be debited without your consent.  Please allow a matter of hours to ensure we have the time to find and offer you a variety of options for your consideration. Reservations within 30 days of pick up

In the event you wish to book a Motorhome within 30 days of pick-up New Zealand-Motorhomes will either:

1. Debit your Credit Card between 15% and 25% (depending on Model reserved) of the total daily hire rate as a Deposit to confirm a booking. Remaining daily hire total payable at Depot at start of hire.
2. Debit your Credit Card for the Total daily hire amount.

RESERVATIONS OF ICONIC MOTORHOMES

For reservations of Iconic motorhomes, the deposit is 10% with the balance due 50 days prior to the start of the hire. If you are booking within 50 days of the hire start, 100% will be due on booking.

Deposit/Payment

The deposit required and final payment Terms are cleary detailed on Part one of the Booking page and on your Printable Reservation Summary . If the vehicle is available you will receive an email Confirmation or we will offer you suitable alternative hires for your consideration.

Each accepted alterations to the original reservation attract a NZ$25 admin fee* and we will apply the original daily rates published at time of reservation with the exception of models that are hired on a "Flex Rate basis" where upon the highest rate at the time of amendment will apply. (Rates are updated weekly). Please see the your particular Model's Terms and Conditions for clarification.

*Please note any changes made to a Kiwi Autohomes hire attract an amendment fee of NZ$50

Note: Hire amendments within 30 days of start

Hires can be shortened or lengthened and an administration fee of NZ$25 applies. However, if dates are completely changed, this will be treated as a cancellation and normal cancellation charges will apply.

Kruse Commentary Cancellation Policy:

• Cancellation 8 days of more prior to start of hire 100% refund
• Cancellation 1 - 7 days prior to start hire 90% Cancellation fee applies
• (This is because the system has already been dispatched for your hire)

Bond or Insurance Excess:

If you are required to pay a bond, it will be payable by Credit Card or Debit Card (if Debit Card it will be processed as a Credit transaction). Cash and cheques will not be accepted.

COMPANY DISCLAIMER AND LIABILITY
While New-Zealand Motorhomes.com will make it's best reasonable efforts to ensure that the content, prices and material on this web site are accurate and precise at the time of Reservation New-Zealand Motorhomes.com assumes no responsibility to do so and shall not be liable for any errors or omissions in particular the published Terms and Conditions.  We reserve the right to amend Booking Terms and Conditions at any time and, although unlikely, they may differ from time of Reservation to time of travel. New-Zealand Motorhomes.com shall not be liable for any loss occasioned thereby however caused. In particular we assume no responsibility for any incorrect quotes and reserve the right to offer a correct quote without penalty or prejudice

New Zealand-Motorhomes.com endeavors to only work with reputable rental companies but does not itself operate the transportation and therefore will not accept responsibility for the condition of any of the transportation. The information supplied does not constitute a recommendation or endorsement and New Zealand-Motorhomes will not be liable for any damage or loss as a result of the use of this information.

Any complaints or discrepancies are between the Company hiring the Transportation and the client renting it. Newzealand-motorhomes.com assumes no reponsibilty in these matters. Baggage and personal effects are the passenger's own risk/responsibility and bookings are only accepted on acceptance of these conditions. Clients are advised to take out Travel Insurance

Credit Card Charges
New Zealand-Motorhomes cover all Credit Card charges on any payments deducted by New Zealand-Motorhomes.com themselves. *Any payments made with a Credit Card directly to the Motorhome Companies usually incur surcharges ranging from 2% to 3% but not restricted to these amounts.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation fees, prior to pick-up are as follows:

40 Days and over: $250 Admin Fee
29 - 39 Days: 50% of deposit retained Min $250
20 - 28 Days: 25% of Total Reservation cost
10 - 19 Days: 50% of Total Reservation cost
1 - 9 Days: 75% of Total Reservation cost
No Show: 100% of Total Reservation cost

EXCEPTION to the above cancellation terms and Credit Card Charges:

We have one company that is an exception to the above cancellation terms: Iconic Motorhomes. The cancellation fees and Credit Card Charges  for Iconic motorhomes are below:

Deposit is non-refundable 
If cancelled 125 days prior to pickup = additional 50% of rental 
If cancelled 90 days prior to pickup = 100% of rental 
Late vehicle collection or early return during the hire = no refund available

All debits made by New Zealand-motorhomes for Iconic hires (Only) over NZ5,000 will attract a 2% Merchant Fee.
