INSURANCE OPTIONS
For Pick up Locations OTHER THAN Auckland and Christchurch the Insurance Bond is debited 7 days prior to start of hire.

STANDARD RATE
Standard rate leaves you still to pay a Bond/Excess of NZ$3300 (debited) or options as below can be taken to reduce bond/excess.

BONDS REDUCED INSURANCE

OPTION 1
For NZ$25 per day, bond/excess is NZ$1,500 (debited)

OPTION 2
For NZ$$50 per day, bond/excess is NZ$500 (debited)


OPENING HOURS - ALL DEPOTS
9.00am till 5.00pm 7 days per week.

Generally 9.00am to 5.00pm but see below

PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF LOCATION INFORMATION

TRANSFER FEE - AUCKLAND
Pick up and drop off in most cases between the hours of 9am to 5pm (latest time 3.00pm airport). Sweet As do not Pick up or drop off. Sweet As can order a shuttle if requested, but this will be at the cost of customer - the customer pays this cost directly to the shuttle driver. Sweet As use Liberty Shuttles - flat rate $120. The depot is 60km north of the Auckland Airport.

CHRISTCHURCH
Operating hours between 9am to 5pm (latest time 3.00pm airport). Sweet As do not offer courtesy Pick up or drop off transfers. Sweet As operate from a depot 30 mins north of Christchurch, and 19 kms from the Airport. You will need to arrange your transfer to/from the depot (price ranges from NZ$100 each way). Super Shuttles $130 (up to 6 persons).

For Pick up Locations OTHER THAN Auckland and Christchurch all remaining monies due (including hire items) and the Insurance Bond is debited 7 days prior to start of hire.

LOCATION FEES TO BE PAID ALONG WITH FINAL HIRE PAYMENT (30 DAYS PRIOR TO PICK UP).
IF PICKING UP AND DROPPING OFF IN SAME LOCATION THE FEE IS DOUBLED
Queenstown $300, Picton $300, Wellington $300, Greymouth NZ$300, Blenheim NZ$300, Dunedin NZ$300

MINIMUM HIRE PERIOD
The minimum hire period is 5 days for Auckland and Christchurch. The minimum hire period from 20 December - 5 January is 10 days. The minimum hire period is subject to change at discretion of Sweet As.

DRIVERS LICENCES
All drivers must be at least 21 years old and hold a full and current New Zealand driver's license, or an International Driving Licence, or a license from the country of origin with an English translation by an approved translator.

OTHER INFORMATION
These details and images are indicative of the vehicle that will be supplied under your booking. Actual vehicles may vary according to year of manufacture and model and availability but your vehicle will be suitable for the required number of persons and have equivalent or better specifications to those listed in this website. Vehicles cannot be requested by make, model, year of manufacture, features or specifications

CANCELLATION FEES
All deposits paid are non-refundable. In addition to forfeiting your deposit, confirmed hires subsequently cancelled incur a cancellation fee.
30 days and over prior to pick-up date 50% of Gross Rental (Minimum of NZ$300 ).
From 7 – 29 days prior to pick-up date 75% of Gross Rental (minimum of NZ$300).
Less than 6 days (1- 6 days) prior or no-show or hire cancelled at time of pick up 100% of Gross Rental.
