INSURANCE - STANDARD LIABILITY
With standard liability, your customers are liable for up to $3,500 per incident, with unlimited liability in relation to overhead and underbody cover, as well as single vehicle rollover. Any damage to the Motorhome or any third party property during the hire will need to be paid during the vehicle drop off process. Costs incurred will be calculated and recovered at end of the hire, regardless of any independent cover they may have. Customers choosing a standard liability option will need to allow sufficient time at drop-off to enable a damage inspection.

The Mighty Inclusive Pack of NZ$39 per day (maximum NZ$1,950 per rental) is payable in addition to the daily rental rate.

THE BUNDLE
The Bundle is included in the Inclusive Pack or can be purchased for NZ$12 per day (max charge NZ$600), see Optional Hire Equipment.

EXPRESS RETURN PACK
Available for a one-off payment of NZ$339, for hires up to 15 days. Hires of 16 days and more charge is NZ$445, Hires of 25 days and more charge is NZ$535.
The Express Return Pack includes: Express Key Return, Return of gas bottle empty, Return fuel tank empty, Toilet and wastewater emptying service, Diesel tax (Road User Charge) recovery Fee. Please note, for drop-offs only within business hours of 8.00am - 4.20pm. (Can only be purchased with the Liability Reduction Option/Inclusive Pack)

EXTRA DRIVER FEES
An extra driver fee of NZ$2 per day with maximum charge of NZ$30 applies. Included in Inclusive Pack.

ROAD USER CHARGE
Road User Charge will be calculated and collected on return of the vehicle based on the kilometres traveled during the hire. Included in the Express Return Pack.
The vehicle rates if applicable for diesel engines only per 100km are as follows:
NZ$7.64 (Highball, Deuce, Deuce Plus, Double Down)
NZ$8.04 (Double Up, Big Six)

MINIMUM DAYS HIRE
Minimum and maximum rental periods apply and are subject to change.
The minimum hire period is 5 days with the exception of North to South hires, Easter (5 day minimum hire) and the Festive season where a 5 day minimum applies to hires
5 day minimum hire for days that include 10 April 2020 to 13 April 2020 (Easter)
5 day minimum hire Southbound 01 October 2020 to 31 March 2021 (Auckland to Christchurch/Queenstown)
10 day minimum hire 21 Dec 2020 to 4 Jan 2021

ONE WAY HIRE FEES
A one-way rental fee of NZ$150 applies where pick up originates from Auckland and returns to Christchurch or Queenstown, where pick-up is between 01 April and 30 September.
A one-way rental fee of NZ$250 applies where pick up originates from Auckland and returns to Christchurch or Queenstown, where pick-up is between 01 October and 31 March.

A one-way rental fee of NZ$50 applies where pick up originates from Christchurch and returns to Queenstown or vice versa, where pick-up is between 01 April and 30 September.
A one-way rental fee of NZ$75 applies where pick up originates from Christchurch and returns to Queenstown or vice versa, where pick-up is between 01 October and 31 March.
A one-way rental fee of NZ$150 applies where pick up originates from Christchurch or Queenstown and returns to Auckland, where pick-up is between 01 October and 31 March.
A one-way rental fee of NZ$0 applies where pick up originates from Christchurch or Queenstown and returns to Auckland, where pick-up is between 01 April and 30 September.

LOCATION FEES
If picking up or dropping off in Queenstown a NZ$95 location fee will apply (if pick up/drop off occurs in same city, one fee applies).
In addition to One Way fees if applicable (as above) from 1st November

PUBLIC HOLIDAY SURCHARGE
A NZ$100 surcharge will apply to all rentals picking up and/or dropping off on National public holidays:

DRIVERS LICENCES
All drivers must be at least 21 years old and hold a full and current New Zealand driver's licence, or an International Driving Licence, or a licence from the country of origin with an approved English translation by an accredited translator. No senior age limit applies.

Actual vehicles may vary according to year of manufacture and availability but your vehicle will be suitable for the required number of persons and have equivalent or better specifications to those listed in this website. Vehicles cannot be requested by make, model, year of manufacture, features or specifications.

Britz In Vehicle tablet - Help at every turn
All vehicles are fitted with an in-vehicle TomTom GPS tablet to help you at every stage of your campervan holiday - features to help you find your way around, provide answers to questions you might have. Enable a WIFI Hotspot. Locate useful things like experiences near you, campgrounds, dump stations, petrol stations and LPG refill points via the Campermate app. Once at the branch for pick up, one of the Host crew will show you through your vehicle and explain a bit more about how the In-Vehicle tablet works.

CANCELLATION FEES FROM 21/10/20 TO 30/11/21
Cancel for free 7 days before travel for pick ups until 30/11/2021
50% Cancellation fee 6 - 1 days prior
If cancelled on day of pick up or No Show 100% of Gross Rental.
If vehicle returned early there is no refund available for the unused days.
The cancellation fee period is based on New Zealand Standard time.

CANCELLATION FEES FOR HIRES STARTING FROM 01/12/21
If cancelled up to 91 days and over prior to pick up the deposit is retained with a minimum of NZ$250 Admin Fee.
If cancelled from 90 to 22 days prior to pick up 10% of Gross Rental (minimum of NZ$250).
From 21 to 7 days prior to pick up 20% of Gross Rental. (minimum of NZ$250).
6 to 1 days prior to pick up 50% of Gross Rental. (minimum of NZ$250).
If cancelled on day of pick up or No Show 100% of Gross Rental

If vehicle returned early there is no refund available for the unused days.
The cancellation fee period is based on New Zealand Standard time.

If the Customer changes the travel dates of their booking and subsequently cancels:

In the case of postponing the travel dates of your booking the original travel dates will be used to calculate the cancellation
fees; and In the case of bringing forward the travel dates of your booking the new travel dates will be used to calculate the cancellation fees.

BOOKING AMENDMENTS WITH FLEX RATES
A NZ$25 fee will apply to amend a flex booking. If a change to a flex booking is made then the booking will be calculated by using the original flex rate if the hire is being extended at the end of the hire. If the hire length is being reduced/ or changing the pick-up date/ or changing the hirer name/ or a change of location/ or vehicle and the flex rate has increased then this higher rate will be applied.
