GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE:
INSURANCE OPTIONS
STANDARD RATE (minimum level of insurance and already included in quoted rate):
Standard rate leaves you still to pay a Bond/excess of NZ$2500 (Credit Card Imprint only) or option as below can be taken to reduce bond/excess.
Insurance option with Standard Rate:
Insurance Option 1: NZ$25 per day reduces bond to NZ$250 (Credit Card imprint only)
WINDSCREEN INSURANCE
(Included in Option 1 insurance). This is an optional extra on Standard Insurance, charged at $3.00 per day. This covers all chips, cracks and broken windows.
MINIMUM HIRE PERIOD
Minimum rental period is 7 days
ONE-WAY RENTALS
One-way rentals are available between Auckland and Christchurch or vice versa at no charge.
GREYMOUTH AND QUEENSTOWN LOCATION FEE
For hires picking up or dropping off in Greymouth or Queenstown there is a location fee of NZ$190.
COURTESY TRANSFERS
Christchurch: Affordable will collect you from the airport or the city and take you to your campervan or motorhome.
Auckland: Affordable will collect you from the airport or at any accommodation within a 5km radius of the airport.
Other locations: Affordable are happy to arrange pick-up and drop off locations for your motorhome or campervan to suit your requirements (location fees apply).
DRIVER LICENCES
A full resident country drivers licence, held for a least one year, is to be presented at the time of rental. If the licence is not in English format, an international drivers licence is also required. Drivers must be 21 years of age or over.
