GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS OF HIRE FOR TRAVEL FROM 1st APRIL 2024

WHEN USING A DEBIT CARD
Their is a compulsory $300 bond for customers using debit cards that are on Stress Free and Stress Free Plus.
We will hold $300 as a security bond to cover any infringements or charges that may occur whilst on hire e.g. Tolls, speeding fines, cleaning fees, camping fines, late returns etc. $300 security bond is pre-authorized on the debit card at the time of pickup and released 10 (working) days after the authorization date.

EXTRA DRIVERS
First driver free, extra drivers are $2 per day each, this is capped at 25 days/$50.

EARLIEST AND LATEST PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF TIMES
Auckland/Christchurch/Queenstown: First pick up/drop off: 8.30am and latest pick up/drop-off 4.00pm. Closed Christmas day.
The first shuttle of the day departs the Airport at 8.45am. The last shuttle of the day leaves the Depot at 3.45pm.

All depots Closed Christmas day. No late pickups available.

AUCKLAND LOCATION SURCHARGE
For Auckland Depot, a surcharge of NZ$12 is charged.

CHRISTCHURCH LOCATION SURCHARGE
For Christchurch Depot, a surcharge of NZ$12 is charged.

QUEENSTOWN LOCATION SURCHARGE
For Queenstown Depot, a surcharge of NZ$150 is charged.

NORTH TO SOUTH ISLAND ONE WAY FEE
A one way fee of NZ$450 applies for travel from the North to the South Island.
A one way fee of NZ$150 applies for travel between the Christchurch and Queenstown and vice versa
No Fees apply when travelling from the South to the North island

MINIMUM HIRE PERIOD
The site will only quote when minimum hire periods are requested. Minimum rental periods are subject to change.

DRIVERS LICENCE
Drivers must be 18 years of age or over. A full resident country driver's license, held for at least one year, is to be presented at the time of rental. If the licence is not in English format, an international driver's license is also required. An accredited English translation will be accepted in lieu of an international driving permit. Please note any non-New Zealand licence classified as or comparable to a restricted license or probationary license will not be accepted.

GROUP BOOKING CONDITIONS
Applies to groups of 5 or more vehicles travelling together. All group bookings are on a request basis and payment (as per below) applies to the total amount the group booking total.
We require a non refundable deposit of 20% at time of booking to secure the reservation
JUCY requires a further non refundable payment of 30% 100 days prior to the collection date
The balance is due 30 days prior to the collection date. If the payment of the balance is not made, the reservations may be cancelled and a 50% cancellation fee will apply.

CANCELLATION FEE
If cancelled 7 calendar days or more prior to pick up: $250 Cancellation Admin fee applies.
If cancelled between 1 – 6 calendar days prior to pick up: 50% of the total booking value or receive a 100% (of amount paid) credit towards a future booking
If cancelled within 24 hours to pick up or a no show: 100% of the total booking value will still be charged
If you change the pick-up date within the cancellation time frames listed above and then you cancel the amended booking; the original cancellation fee will apply.

AMENDMENTS TO THE HIRE The first booking amendment will incur no charge. Any subsequent changes are charged at NZ$25 per change.
