THE COMPANY
Lucky Rentals are relatively new to the motorhome rental scene in New Zealand. They specialise in reliable, well maintained, value for money, 2 & 3 berth campervans.
THE MOTORHOME
The Happy Black Sheep is ideal for backpackers or the budget conscious traveller who is looking for a reliable sleepervan that is spacious with a large sized bed and reliable and modern. The sleepervan is automatic, making driving very easy for touring around New Zealand. It comes with all that is required including bedding, towels and tea towels, basic cooking facilities and utensils and basic living equipment. Vehicle 2005/06.
Baby/child seat not allowed in this vehicle.
This vehicle is NOT certified self contained. CAN NOT use this vehicle for Freedom Camping. Minimum Age of Driver is 18 years
IS THIS MOTORHOME CERTIFIED as SELF CONTAINED?
NO! Motorhomes that are NOT Certified Self Contained are NOT permitted to camp overnight in freedom camping spots.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS OF HIRE FROM 1st APRIL 2023
MINIMUM HIRE PERIOD
The site will only quote when you have requested the minimum hire period.
TRANSFER FEE NZ$10 premium transfer fee for pick-up and drop-off is charged for Auckland and Christchurch.

DRIVERS LICENSES
Drivers must be 18 years of age or over. The driver must hold a current and valid drivers licence (in English) for the duration of the hire period.
(AU/NZ residents). Can I hire on my Restricted or P Plate licence? Yes, Lucky campervans can be driven with a Restricted or P Plate licence (both Red and Green). The driver must hold a current and valid drivers licence for the duration of the hire period as well as abide by the conditions of the licence imposed by the issuing government.
HOURS OF OPERATION
9.00am to 4.30pm, seven days a week.
CLOSED NZ PUBLIC HOLIDAYS
New Year's Day, Waitangi Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, ANZAC Day, Queen's Birthday, Labour Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
COURTSEY TRANSFERS
A free transfer is available to or from the airport on the day of pick up and drop off of the vehicle, this service runs on the hour between 10am and 3pm only. Please note that the shuttle also serves Kiwi Campers and Happy Campers.
CANCELLATION FEE
30 days and over prior to pick up the deposit is retained with a minimum of NZ$250
11 to 29 days prior to pick up 20% of the gross rental (or the deposit whichever is the greater), with a minimum of NZ$250
1-10 days prior to pick up 50% of the gross rental, plus NZ$250 administration fee
Cancelled on the day or no show 100% of the rental (including accessories and insurance is payable), plus credit card administration fee.
No refunds for early returns or late collection.
AMENDMENTS
If an amendment is made to the hire date within 10 days prior to pick up or during the hire, no refund is available and an additional charge of NZ$750 may apply.
