GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS OF HIRE FOR TRAVEL BETWEEN 1st APRIL 2020 TO 31st MARCH 2021

INSURANCE OPTIONS
STANDARD RATE
Standard rate leaves you still to pay a Bond/Excess of NZ$3,500 (Credit card Imprint/pre-authorisation of the bond held on your credit card). This will be charged to your credit card in the event of any damage to the vehicle. If the cost of the damage is lower than the excess, the difference will be refunded to you once the claim has been processed.
Please note: Debit cards cannot be used for bond pre-authorisation. Please ensure you have a credit card present on pick up.

OR, there are options available at the depot to reduce the Bond/Excess. (Options are payable at the depot).

REDUCED BOND/EXCESS
Excess Reduction Options are available at the depot:
Normal $250 excess. NZ$15 per day.
Gold $0 excess. NZ$33 per day.

PLUSCOVER (for glass and tyre cover), NZ$18 per day is available at the depot.

EXTRA DRIVERS
First driver free, extra drivers are NZ$30 per hire period.

MINIMUM HIRE PERIOD
The minimum hire period is 1 day, but 20 days for the 4WD Toyota Prado Landcruiser.

PENING HOURS - ALL DEPOTS
9am to 5 pm (available to 7 pm if pre-arranged)

EARLIEST AND LATEST PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF TIMES
Generally 9.00am to 5.00pm and may apply for pick up and drop off out side these times. Can drop off vehicle at airport car park and client pays for airport car parking fee on exit (Additional to Airport Pickup/Drop off Fee) Drop off at most airport hotels but need to pre-arrange.

Airport Pickup/Drop off Fee is a one-off NZ$25 payable at the depot.
After hour service the Vehicle is delivered to airport parking, and client pays airport parking fee on exit (Additional to Airport Pickup/Drop off Fee).

ONE WAY HIRE FEE/LOCATION FEE
The vehicle needs to be relocated from/to elsewhere. The fee is to cover the costs involved in relocating the vehicle. For Wellington the minimum hire is 14 days.

Auckland to Wellington $200, Auckland to Christchurch $250, Auckland to Queenstown $350,
Wellington to Auckland $200, Wellington to Queenstown $250,
Christchurch to Auckland $200, Christchurch to Queenstown $250, Christchurch to Wellington $250,
Queenstown to Wellington $200, Queenstown to Auckland $250, Queenstown to Christchurch $200

DRIVERS LICENSES
Drivers must be 18 years of age or over. A medical certificate stating that the customer is fit to drive the vehicle they have booked for the duration of the hire is required for drivers over the age of 75. A full resident country driver's licence, held for at least one year, is to be presented at the time of rental. If the licence is not in English format, an international driver's licence is also required. Please note any non-New Zealand licence classified as or comparable to a restricted licence or probationary licence will not be accepted.

CANCELLATION FEES
40 Days and over: $250 Admin Fee
29 - 39 Days: 50% of deposit retained Min $250
20 - 28 Days: 25% of Total Reservation cost
10 - 19 Days: 50% of Total Reservation cost
1 - 9 Days: 75% of Total Reservation cost
No Show: 100% of Total Reservation cost
