All drivers must be at least 25 years old. Walkabout have made a name for themselves supplying mostly late model luxury motorhomes for an affordable price in New Zealand. A low bond makes them a popular option. The discerning hirer will not be dissapointed, and with a good range of vehicles they have an option to suit everyone whatever your requirements. THE MOTORHOME
Walkabouts latest of fleet line up! 2017 Lowline Magis 85P Fiat Ducato 2.3 TurboFiat Super Luxury 2.3 Turbo 2 + 1 Berth - Italian designed, this is the Luxury European style motorhome for New Zealand. Separate shower and toilet, LED lighting throughout & even floor lighting, Swivel front seats with 2 single beds at rear with option of changing to queen, and front lounge area that converts to single bed. Features: Ivory leather upholstery, Solar Panel 120w, large front panoramic skylight, Hill Hold and Rain Sensors, and Blu Me CD/Radio stereo (MP3 controls on steering wheel). Also has a big rear garage, and a reverse camera. This Lowline motorhome is fabulous to drive, is spacious and has cruise control. General Hire Information
GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS OF HIRE FOR TRAVEL BETWEEN 1st APRIL 2020 TO 31st MARCH 2021

INSURANCE
Minimum insurance covers your hire vehicle for windscreen breakage, punctures and third party property and public liability insurance. This leaves you still to pay a Bond/Excess of NZ$3500* (Debited and refunded if no claims). Note NZ$20 per day compulsory insurance charge applies which will be added to the quote on reservations page.
*Bond is debited 3 days before the start of the hire.
ONE WAY HIRES
For one way hires between Christchurch and Auckland or vice versa must have a minimum hire period of 21 days (no one way fee)
For one way hires between Auckland and Wellington the minimum hire period is 21 days and a one way fee of NZ$490 applies.
For one way hires between Christchurch and Wellington the minimum hire period is 21 days and a one way fee of NZ$690 applies.
MINIMUM HIRE PERIOD
The minimum hire period is from 14 days (1 March - 30 November), except for one way hires which is 21 days. During peak months (1 December - 28 February) minimum hire period is 18 days. Subject to change at discretion of Walkabout.
DRIVERS LICENSES
All drivers must be at least 25 years old and hold a full and current New Zealand driver's licence, or an International Driving Licence, or a licence from the country of origin with English translation by an accredited translator.
CANCELLATION FEES
From 31 to 42 days the deposit is retained with a minimum of NZ$500. In addition to forfeiting your deposit, the following charges will apply:
32-42 days: Minimum of NZ$500,
more than 43 days minimum of NZ$250.
23-31 Days 25% of total reservation cost.
13-22 Days - 50% of total reservation cost.
1-12 Days - No Refund.
There is no refund for late pick up or early return of vehicle - no exceptions.
