GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS OF HIRE FOR TRAVEL FROM 1st APRIL 2025

Please make your own way to the branch
The branch is located 2.6 kilometres from the airport.
The branch is located 12 kilometres from the city.
A taxi fare is approximately 35 minutes from the city.
A taxi fare is approximately 15 minutes from the airport.

PICK-UP INFORMATION
• You can collect your motorhome between 8:30 am and 30 minutes before
closing
• We do not offer After Hours collection

DROP-OFF INFORMATION
• We encourage you to drop off the motorhome at our branches during business
hours to avoid any mishaps with the vehicle.
• Should you need to drop off After Hours, please be advised that this will need
prior approval from Star Reservations and Branch Teams.
o If our team approves, After Hours drop-off will incur a $40 additional fee.
o You will have to fill up with the correct fuel to the same level as when you picked up the vehicle and leave a fuel receipt at the branch.
o Remove all your items from the vehicle and leave the vehicle tidy.
o Return the key to the key drop box located outside the branch and make your own way to the airport.

Note: You will be fully responsible for any damage to the vehicles or parking fees incurred if dropping off After Hours. The damage won’t get covered under any excess reduction covers.

CANCELLATION FEES
If the booking is cancelled 22 days (or more) before the pickup date a NZ$250 fee is charged
If the booking is cancelled between 1 – 21 days before the pickup date, 25% of the booking value is chargeable as a cancellation fee, and the remainder of hire fees (if paid) will
be refunded, less any credit card fees. If the booking is cancelled within 24 hours of departure or the hirer does not collect the vehicle from the Star RV
branch, 100% of the booking value is chargeable.
If cancelled within 24 hours to pick up or a no show: 100% of the total booking value will still be charged
- If you change the pick-up date within the cancellation time frames listed above and then you cancel the amended booking; the original cancellation fee will apply.

AMENDMENTS TO THE HIRE
The first booking amendment will incur no charge. Any subsequent changes are charged at NZ$25 per change.
