THE COMPANY
Lucky Rentals are relatively new to the motorhome rental scene in New Zealand. They specialize in reliable, well maintained, value for money, 2,3 & 4 berth campervans.
THE MOTORHOME
Introducing the compact 2-berth automatic Toyota, featuring a cozy double bed, a kitchen, a fridge, and a dual battery system with a 240-volt campsite plug-in (just like a campervan!). Enjoy peace of mind and unforgettable memories with the all-new Lucky Rodeo!
The Lucky Rodeo is the newest member of the Lucky fleet, re-born and refurbished with an Interior fit out in 2024. This is a 2010/ 2013 Toyota Alphard/Estima.
This sleepervan is compact but packed with everything you could possibly need for that once in a lifetime road trip!
IS THIS MOTORHOME CERTIFIED as SELF CONTAINED?
NO! Motorhomes that are NOT Certified Self Contained are NOT permitted to camp overnight in freedom camping spots.

DRIVERS LICENSES
Drivers must be 18 years of age or over. The driver must hold a current and valid drivers licence (in English) for the duration of the hire period.
(AU/NZ residents). Can I hire on my Restricted or P Plate licence? Yes, Lucky campervans can be driven with a Restricted or P Plate licence (both Red and Green). The driver must hold a current and valid drivers licence for the duration of the hire period as well as abide by the conditions of the licence imposed by the issuing government.

9.00am to 5.00pm, seven days a week.
HOURS OF OPERATION 1 MAY - 30 SEPT
9.00am to 4.30pm, seven days a week.
9 Am till 1Pm Saturday, Closed, Sunday and Public Holidays
CLOSED NZ PUBLIC HOLIDAYS
New Year's Day, Waitangi Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, ANZAC Day, Queen's Birthday, Labour Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
COURTSEY TRANSFERS
A free transfer is available to or from the airport on the day of pick up and drop off of the vehicle, this service runs on the hour between 10am and 3pm only. Please note that the shuttle also serves Kiwi Campers and Happy Campers.
CANCELLATION FEE
30 days and over prior to pick up the deposit is retained with a minimum of NZ$250
11 to 29 days prior to pick up 20% of the gross rental (or the deposit whichever is the greater), with a minimum of NZ$250
1-10 days prior to pick up 50% of the gross rental, plus NZ$250 administration fee
Cancelled on the day or no show 100% of the rental (including accessories and insurance is payable), plus credit card administration fee.
No refunds for early returns or late collection.
AMENDMENTS
If an amendment is made to the hire date within 10 days prior to pick up or during the hire, no refund is available and an additional charge of NZ$750 may apply.
